Event Description: For the past nine years Compassionate Care ALS has raised a significant portion of our annual income through a partnership with the CIGNA Falmouth Road Race. We have done this with the help of more than 150 different runners and countless more team leaders and team members. Last year our Falmouth teams brought in over $180,000 making us the second highest earning charity of the 2009 CIGNA Falmouth Road Race. Those funds provide direct services and durable goods for ALS patients, their families and their caregivers. In 2010, our goal is to raise $250,000 and to be the top-earning charity of the CIGNA Falmouth Road Race. Confirming and Picking Up Numbers Compassionate Care ALS runners register and receive numbers through our organization, not the CIGNA Falmouth Road Race headquarters. As a result, and because we have limited numbers, you need confirmation from our office to know if your number is secure. We can confirm your spot once we receive a signed Registration Form and a deposit. Confirmed Compassionate Care ALS runners can pick up their numbers on Friday, August 13, Saturday August 14 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm or by special arrangement with Ron at 752 West Falmouth Highway in Falmouth. More details to follow. Day of the Race WHEN: Sunday, August 15, 2010 - 10:00 AM Buses to the race's start are available at Lawrence School in Falmouth.
