NWPHC sends sports gear to Afghanistan

Some photos from one of our club members stationed in Afghanistan are available in our Photo Gallery.

A letter from Niki: Here are some pictures of us getting the baseball gear from the Nautical Whalers Parrot Head Club. SGT Scott Doucette, who requested the gear, is the one opening the boxes and trying on the gear. There is a pic of one of our LTs trying on a glove and seeing when the first pick up game will be. The news of the gear has spread and people who brought gloves from home are happy to have gloves and balls to get a game together. Erik was a sport in attempting to blow up the football with the hand pump, a task that would appear to be easy but it absolutely wasn't. Everyone here really appreciates everything that has been sent out especially the gear!! Thanks to everyone who donated and sent us stuff, we really appreciate it, From the Parrot Heads of the 368th Engineers

A total of $41,800 has been raised as a result of hard work and generous donations from golfers and businesses to make our golf tournament a very successful event!
