13th Annual New England Parrothead Convention

The 13th Annual New England Parrot Head Convention �A Pirate Looks At Newport� took place in Newport RI from February 29 to March 2, 2008. Some photos from the convention are now available in the Photo Gallery

2008 Jim Giammalvo Memorial Golf Tournament

The Third Annual Jim Giammalvo Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at the Bay Pointe Country Club 19 Bay Pointe Drive in Onset, MA on Saturday June 7th, 2008 at 1:00 PM (Shotgun style). This event is open to everyone. All proceeds benefit The Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care, The Jim Giammalvo Memorial Scholarship Fund, and the charities of the Nautical Whalers Parrot Head Club.

2007 Jim Giammalvo Memorial Golf Tournament

The Jim Giammalvo Memorial Golf Tournament that was held on Saturday June 2nd 2007 at the Bay Pointe Country Club in Onset MA.

Proceeds raised from the tournament went to benefit:
Cam Neely House: $4800.00
Jim Giammalvo Memorial Scholarship Fund: $4200.
NWPHC: $1200 (which got donated to the scholarship fund for a total of $5400)

Rochester County Fair

Some pictures are from the Rochester County Fair that was held on Sunday, August 19th are now available. This was the first float for the Nautical Whalers PHC and the parade was held in Rochester, MA.

Jimmy Fund Check Presentation

Here are some pictures of us presenting the check to The Jimmy Fund with the money raised from the 2007 New England Parrot Head convention. The convention raised $34,284.64 to benefit the Dana Faber cancer institute.

2007 Jim Giammalvo Memorial Golf Tournament

The Jim Giammalvo Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, June 2, 2007, at the Bay Pointe Country Club www.baypointecc.net in Onset, MA. Registration will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. with the shotgun tee off at 1:00 p.m. Golf will be a SCRAMBLE format. Cost for the outing is $115.00 per player and includes: golf, cart, registration snack, barbecue, prizes, donation and a cocktail. The additional cost from last year is to cover the move from an Executive Course to a Regulation Par 70 Course. SAVE $75, register a FOURSOME and TEE SIGN! Hope to see you out there!

2007 New England PHC Convention

On behalf of the Nautical Whalers Parrot Head Club, Maureen and I want to thank all the Nautical Whalers that helped out at the 12th Annual New England Parrot Head Convention "A Salty Piece of Cape Cod", March 2-4, 2007 at the Sea Crest in N. Falmouth MA (Cape Cod). We raised over $30,000 to benefit the Jimmy Fund-Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Many thanks to Linda & Mitch Jarosz, Bill & Dawn Mendes, Jack & Mona Daniel, our MC's Randy Clemens & Miles Hampton, Wendall Cooke & Bill Bridges of the Sea Crest. 14 parrot head clubs participated with a total of over 475 attendees. Thank you all for a fruitful weekend..............
